Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland has scored 24 hat-tricks in his professional football career, 1 for Molde, 5 for RB Salzburg, 4 for Borussia Dortmund, 11 for Manchester City, and 3 for the Norwegian national team.
Haaland, who started his football journey at the age of five from his hometown club Bryne‘s academy, joined another Norwegian club Molde in 2017 at the age of 16.
Haaland scored his first career hat-trick on 1 July 2018 against Brann, scoring four goals in the opening 21 minutes. He finished the 2018 season as Molde’s top scorer with 16 goals in 30 games in all competitions.
Also in 2019, Haaland, who signed a five-year contract with Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg, left Salzburg for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund after scoring 29 goals.
Haaland, who joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022 for a fee of €60 million (£51.2 million), has scored 11 hat-tricks for Manchester City, including eight in the Premier League, two in the FA Cup and one in the Champions League.
Following his nine goals against Honduras at the FIFA U20 World Cup, Haaland made his senior international debut against Malta on 5 September 2019. Also on 11 October, Haaland scored his first international hat-trick in Norway’s 4–0 win over Romania.
