Teams in the UCL knockout stage
Sixteen teams qualified for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League knockout stage. The teams ranked first to eighth will advance directly to the Round of 16. while 9th- to 24th-placed teams face each other in a two-leg Knockout round play-offs to join the Round of 16.
From the round of 16 onwards, the Champions League will return to its old style, and the final will be held on neutral ground.
When is the UCL Knockout Stage draw?
The draw for the knockout stage play-offs will take place on 31 January 2025, while the draw for the knockout stage (round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals) will take place on 21 February 2025.
