Jadon Sancho Transfer News: Fenerbahce Make Bold €18m Bid Amid Juventus, Napoli Interest

Manchester United and Jadon Sancho face a pivotal decision in the coming days as Turkish giants Fenerbahce have submitted a formal €18 million (£15.2m) bid for the England international.

The proposal includes a three-year contract worth €12 million per season, a package that comes close to Sancho’s current £300,000-a-week salary at Old Trafford.

In contrast, Serie A clubs Juventus and Napoli have offered significantly lower financial terms.

Under new manager Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahce are searching for a replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin and have reportedly made “serious progress” in securing Sancho.

The Istanbul club’s offer is the most financially attractive for the player and reflects Mourinho’s desire to make a statement signing this summer.

While their bid is €7 million short of Manchester United’s €25 million (£21m) valuation, Fenerbahce’s strong wage proposal puts them in pole position.

Sancho is said to be open to the move, primarily due to the salary alignment with his current deal — a major hurdle for other clubs.

Despite Sancho initially preferring a move to Serie A champions Napoli, the Italian club’s interest has cooled after preliminary talks.

Meanwhile, Juventus remain active but are exploring swap deals to reduce the upfront cost — including potential exchanges involving Dusan Vlahovic or Douglas Luiz.

However, Juventus are unlikely to match Fenerbahce’s salary offer, meaning their success depends on Sancho taking a pay cut and Manchester United agreeing to a player-plus-cash arrangement.

Manchester United are eager to sell Sancho this summer in order to offload his substantial wages and recoup funds, especially with outstanding payments still owed to Borussia Dortmund.

The club is reportedly unwilling to loan the player again and instead seeks a permanent sale.

Sancho is also expected to be excluded from new manager Ruben Amorim’s pre-season tour of the United States, which adds urgency to resolve the situation before the 2025/26 campaign begins.

With just one year left on his contract, United risk losing Sancho for free in 2026 if no agreement is reached. The 24-year-old must now weigh the sporting prestige of Juventus or Napoli against the financial security and guaranteed role offered by Fenerbahce.

From United’s perspective, accepting a slightly reduced fee now could be wiser than holding out for €25 million and facing the risk of a further drop in Sancho’s market value.

As Manchester United ramp up pre-season preparations and Fenerbahce press forward with their bold approach, Jadon Sancho’s future could be decided within days.

Unless another suitor meets United’s valuation or Sancho drastically lowers his wage demands, Fenerbahce’s offer remains the most concrete and attractive option on the table.
