UEFA have released the Champions League 2024-25 Group Stage Fixtures For Arsenal. Kick-off time for Arsenal in the league stage is set for 21:00 CET.
Arsenal group stage tour begins on Wednesday, 18 September, 2024 away to Atalanta BC.
This league stage tour will conclude on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with Girona‘s home ground at Estadi Montilivi. Arsenal will play a total of eight matchdays.
The second match will be against the French club Paris Saint-Germain at Emirates Stadium in London, while the Matchday Three match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk will also be held in London.
The Gunners will travel to Italy and Portugal for matches on Matchday Four and Five respectively. And Matchday Six and Seven Arterta side will play at home.
Arsenal will face PSG, Shakhtar, GNK Dinamo, Monaco, Inter Milan, Atalanta, Sporting, and Girona in the Champions League 2024-25 Group Stage.
The draw for the league phase of the Champions League 2024-25 took place in Monaco on Thursday afternoon, with the giants of European football discovering their opponents for the new-look competition.
Europe’s most prestigious competition will experience a significant format change for the first time in 32 years.
The biggest change in the Champions League new format is in the group stages. Previously, teams played against each other home and away in a round-robin format.
In the new Format, each team will face eight different opponents, four at home and four away.
The top eight teams will automatically qualify for the last 16, teams from 9th to 24th in the league phase will have to compete in two-legged play-off matches to secure their place in the Round of 16.
while teams from 25th to 36th will be automatically eliminated from the competition. The knockout stage will feature home and away matches leading up to the final in the traditional knockout format.
